The Scrum Legends Balls System: Unlock the Power of Points!

Welcome to the Balls System

Welcome to the Balls System page, where the real action happens in Scrum Legends! This unique feature is designed to elevate your fantasy rugby experience by adding or subtracting points based on specific player actions in real rugby matches. Whether it's a brilliant try or a costly turnover, every move your players make can impact your fantasy points—and your place on the leaderboard.

What is the Balls System?

In Scrum Legends, the Balls System adds another layer of strategy to the game. It assigns point modifiers to various actions that occur in actual rugby matches. Each action—whether positive or negative—affects your team's score, allowing you to make tactical decisions that can change the outcome of your matchups.

How Does the Balls System Work?

Here's how the points are awarded (or subtracted) based on player actions during games:

  • Try Scored (Plus 10 points): When one of your selected players scores a try, you earn a rewarding 10 points. Every try brings you closer to victory, so choose your try-scorers wisely.
  • Conversion Success (Plus 5 points): Successful conversions after a try will earn you 5 points. Your kicker's accuracy can have a big impact on your team's performance.
  • Assist (Plus 4 points): If a player assists in scoring a try, they will earn 4 points. It's all about teamwork, so make sure to choose players who can contribute to the overall team effort.
  • Tackle (Plus 1 point): Every tackle your players make in the match earns 1 point. Defenders who are active in the game can help accumulate those extra points.
  • Turnover (Minus 5 points): A turnover can be costly. If one of your players loses possession to the opposing team, you'll lose 5 points. Avoid these costly mistakes to protect your lead!
  • Yellow Card (Minus 3 points): A yellow card results in a 3-point deduction. Keep an eye on your players to make sure they stay disciplined throughout the match.
  • Penalty (Minus 2 points): If your player commits a penalty, they'll lose 2 points. Every mistake counts, so managing your players' discipline is key.
  • Kick-off Return (Plus 3 points): A successful return after a kick-off can bring in 3 points. It rewards players who take full advantage of game situations.

Why is the Balls System Important?

The Balls System brings real rugby dynamics into your fantasy game. It's not just about selecting the best players; it's about making strategic choices based on each player's role in the match. Managing your players' actions and minimizing penalties or turnovers is essential for maintaining your lead in the game. Whether it's a fantastic try, a perfect assist, or a crucial tackle, each play impacts your fantasy outcome.
